Silk Wool & Bijoux was founded on the premise of finding fun and unique accessories from around the world. They have beautiful water buffalo horn from Vietnam, hand crocheted fine jewelry from Cappadocia, and wonderful bronze and silver plate jewelry from Istanbul. Their scarves are produced around the globe by local artisans - Vietnam, Peru, Turkey and Ireland. They have met personally with each artisan in their country, visited their workshops, and observed their production.
They are committed to fair and mutually beneficially relationships with their artisans. They support them in their efforts to successfully navigate the world of trade. They represent women business in Vietnam and Turkey, one in fact is a women's co-operative that makes their beautiful hard crocheted jewelry.
